Feed Our Neighbors in Need
The annual "Feed our Neighbors in Need" food drive is a community food drive led by The Faith Alliance. Many local congregations collect food donations over a period of two weeks and then deliver the donations to a local food pantry of their choice.
On average, the food drive yields approximately 20,000 pounds of groceries helping to re-stock area food pantries in Butler, Warren and Hamilton Counties. Since the inception of the program in 2013, over 172,000 pounds of food has been donated.
In 2023, 16 church partners are participating in collecting food and toiletries for area pantries.
In 2022, over 22,000 lbs. of food/toiletries and $520 in cash donations was collected by 16 church partners which was donated to 13 different area food pantries.
In 2021, over 19,000 lbs. of food and $725 in cash donations was collected by 14 church partners which was donated to 10 different area food pantries.
